You, sir, are wrong. First of all Oscar was not shot when he faced Floyd, nor is he shot now. The fight was at 154, and Oscar didn't give him a split gift anything, Floyd won fair and square with accurate shots and much better defense, Oscar's pressure and the build-up for the fight gave us a chance to see a different fight the first time than we do replaying it a second time.

If this fight takes place at 140, Floyd is going to pick Pacquiao apart, not as bad as Gatti or Hatton I don't think, but trust me Floyd's going to put it on him.

I love how people use the SD excuse, e****ially considering any observer with a bit of boxing knowledge knows the fight was a clear win for Floyd.

Know the difference.. A guy who potshots and throws less than 10 punches per round is different from a guy who moves a lot and throws 50 punches per round.. DLH was throwing combinations from round 1 and Pac leave the ropes immediately.. Mayweather stick to the ropes and used his shoulder roll and gave Oscar the chance to throw at him.. Pac never gave him a chance..

Wasn't it Kaczmarek who had Oscar winning? Honestly, he is one of the absolute worst judges in the world. I've followed judges recently marking down when I agree and when I disagree and that dude is absolute ****. I never agree with his card.

but do you think it could also go the way of Duran-Leonard 2, minus na "no mas"?

I have an acute sense that the Pacman/Mayweather fight will almost end like the Jones/Calzaghe fight. Mayweather who is "slick" like Jones will end up like him, battered and humbled. Very strong feeling with this result. JAT

Floyd hasn't fought up to his ability in a few years...so, I don't see it happening.

It's why I said if Floyd isn't there Mentally, isn't motivated and willing to give it his all like he did when he was younger where he took more risks, against Pac, I could see the fight slip away from him and being out-pointed like say, Hopkins vs. Taylor I

Floyd has to fight from round one and be active; he needs to go back to the old way of fighting.

Can he do it? Not sure on all the reasons why he changed. Age, weight, hand-problems, back problems, Mental change...all of the above...???

                  He retired, so...

If I were Floyd, and this is the same for Pac, I would go out and land the first shot with incredible force. Although, it might not be wise given Floyd's hands. It would be messed up if he broke his hand on the fist punch...crazy.

I do wonder if Floyd danced around and made Pac miss like Leonard did to Duran if Pac could handle it mentally. But of course; can Floyd still do that?
I would say he should try it.

So what you are saying is: being 30+, inactive, possibly for two years by the time of the fight; not fighting and having to make weight in 3-4 years, will catch up to FLoyd and make him shot...thus giving Pac a ghost to fight?

I'm only a "Part-time boxing fan" and not an expert like others though I sort of base my thinking of an outcome by virtue of sense more than just what people say or think would be the obvious outcome. I wasn't wrong in my prediction of the De La Hoya fight and it wasn't because I'm a supporter of the Pacman. I saw and sensed something before that fight and I was right. I'm not saying Mayweather is a "shot" fighter, I'm saying that the Pacman will defeat him through his unstoppable and ferocious style of fighting. I firmly believe that Mayweather will not be able to overcome the Pacman. I just don't see it happening but I guess anything can happen right? JAT
