Well it's not an absolute sign no, never said it was nor really did the article. Hence no dates or anything.

But the BBC is hardly an bad, un professional, or unreliable source.

I think this will be a great fight, a very close one too.

I didn't see Taylor against Lacy, I'll have to get hold of that and see how he did, but Froch is a far more dangerous opponent than Lacy in my opinion.

They both have the power to hurt each other. Froch just didn't raise his arms against Pascal at all but I think he will against Taylor, he was probably just trying to put on a show for the cameras.

I have Taylor to win by a tight UD, but I wouldn't be surprised whatever happened. A big factor to take into consideration is where the fight is held.

My thoughts exactly, there's no way Taylor's taking a 70-30 split. Carl Froch isn't a name fighter enough to get shown on HBO, he needs Taylor to do that.

If and when this happens, I'll probably go with a Froch win. Taylor will outbox him for most of the rounds but I see Taylor crumbling late in the fight. I agree with whoever said Taylor wouldn't be able to handle the kind of fight Froch and Pascal fought the other day. Taylor is a good fighter, but too lazy.

Yeh Taylor may well not be able to withstand such a brutal exchange, Pascal responded terrifically. Taylor certainly wouldn't as well, he'd need to come reasonably close though or avoid trouble well.

70/30 split is ridiculous. Taylor is a bigger name, and whilst I do think too much rides on that sometimes, Froch is not a name, it's his first defence against the previous undisputed MW champ. Team Froch is becoming a little deluded already, especially saying they might not want Calzaghe, Pavlik is a bigger fight. Win or lose I can see Froch getting a little exposed next year.
