Margarito fans hate Williams and Williams fans hate Margarito...

I just watched them fight, and one thing that couldn't be any less clear to me... it is damn near impossible to find another fighter in the sport who fights more closely to either of them than the other one. They basically fight the same way, and yet all of you geniuses love one and detest the other.

I like Williams better, because he seems more energetic, and just seems more consistent in his fighting pace, but I have nothing but love for Margarito...

I just don't know how you justify love for one and hatred for the other... it makes no sense.

I think they are both overrated. If you took away their physical advantages they will not beat many top fighters at MW & LMW

I don't think they fight similar at all. Williams is a lot faster in getting shots off. Williams tries to avoid punches too.

If you took away Dawson's natural born speed, he wouldn't beat anyone either...

They are using what they were given at birth, what's wrong with that?

Just because they aren't fast and slick doesn't mean they can't win, they just had to figure out another way to do it...

Their advantages come from their size, and also from their relentless training that they put themselves through... which is why they can outwork anyone.

It is nothing knew. There are individuals on this site who are incapable of making decisions based on logical information that is in front of their face. They love and hate based on a set of defined factors (race, nationality) and that is that. It is incredible.

They both just throw... just because Williams is faster does not mean they don't try to fight the same.

And even if Williams tries to avoid punches, he is awful at it...

Margarito tries to block punches, so it's not like he just catches them on the face.

Dawson is a 6"3 Southpaw who has a good defence,beautiful ring generalship,good jab,great variety and he is an excellent body puncher with good footwork.
