Anyway, yeah Tua did more damage overall but he packed it all into 2 or 3 good rounds. He did hurt Ike real bad in the 11th, but there is no way Tua landed enough hard shots to cancel out everything Ike was doing in each and every round.

As for HBO having Tua winning, DUH! He was their hot heavyweight prospect at the time. Everyone was in love with Tua. Ike only had what 15 fights coming into that? They hadn't built him up or anything. NOBODY knew Ike, so there was no reason to promote him. They wanted Tua vs. Holyfield or Lewis, so of course they said they had Tua winning.

Lederman always scores for the aggressor. Case in point: he gave Hatton like 3 rounds against Mayweather when most judges struggled to give Hatton even one.

Ike won the first 4 because he threw everything he had in those 4 rounds, after that it was all Tua. When Ike was on the inside he was having his way with Tua, but after the 4th he got tired, because he had thrown so many punches in those 4 rounds. Ibeabuchi went to fight on the outside to grab a breather trying not to get involved as much so he did not have to work as hard and that is how Tua took over the fight.

Ibeabuchi was ineffective on the outside and that is when Tua started having more an impact and hurt him twice. In the 11th Ibeabuchi looked ready to go.

They had Tua winning because he won more rounds . You are horrible at scoring fights, absolutely horrible. You thought Tiberi v Toney was a close fight when Tiberi clearly won the fight.

EVEN if you thought Ibeabuchi did win the fight, your scorecard is ridiculous.

whats your deal with ottke? he was a great fighter who was the first to have 21 title defenses and with a real belt. not the wbo. he was a master boxer who always found a way to win. i could mention calzaghe's gift decisions against reid and hopkins but i won't..........or will i.
