He really didn't need to keep fighting. De La Hoya hasn't been a real fighter for years. You can't fault the guy because he has been a great fighter in the past and made so much money from the sport. But, realistically, he has been a part-time boxer for years. That showed last weekend against Pacquiao who was so hungry to win that fight. Unfortunately for De La Hoya he just fell apart at the hinges after the first few rounds. He just didn't have anything there. So hopefully that was his last fight, I don't think he is going to fight again."
just retire and STFU already joe

Don't compare th guys they're totally different and were in totally different divisions and scenario's. People are entitled to freedom of speech.
None freedom whatsoever, no credence, no nothing. He lost freedom of speech when he decided to fight Jones.

Thats funny, because eventhough he might not a be a full time fighter, he at least had the balls to fight threats, not to mention 2 #1 pound for pound champs, and i dont even care for De La Puta(and i'm defending the guy), Joe go choke yourself......you cant even come close to holding de la putas g-string

He gets his freedom of speech when he beats a LEGIT fighter convincingly. He got a gift against Hopkins and slapped a man to death that looks like Roy Jones Jr. Who has he dominated thats actually GOOD or GREAT before old man Jones? dont say Hopkins because he didnt DOMINATE. Dont say Lacy because Lacy isn't nothing and nobody will see that Win on his resume in ten years and say. OMG he beat Lacy.. Because Lacy is ****.
