Even Britain called Lewis a Canadian when he turned pro. He was trashed all over the media and he was made fun of for having a 'Canadian' accent. and he was even booed and heckled going to the ring against Bruno. Only after he ko'd bruno did the UK fans jump on his bandwagon and called him one of their own.

And by this same logic, it would mean that Margarito is American since he was born in California. But everyone knows that he is a mexican cuz thats where he grew up and learned how to box.

Who is Britain then??? I hope your not pressuming that the whole of Great Britain called him Canadian, cus i didn't, and i know alot of other people that didn't. I have always said he is British, doesn't matter where you emmigrate to in the world, if you were born here and spent a reasonble chunck of your life here then you are British. He would have been heavily influensed by his experiences in Britain, and remember his Parents were British and spent most of their life here, so will undoubtedly have many British values which were passed on to Lennox.
