NEW YORK -- HBO Sports reported today that 1.25 million pay-per-view buys were generated from last Saturday’s welterweight fight between Oscar de la Hoya, the sport’s top all-time attraction, and Manny Pacquiao.
this should shut up the mayweather haters for saying that pac should get the bigger cut if they fight. Mayweather deserves a 65-35 split if they ever meet cuz he clearly is a bigger attraction than pacquiao.
people..thought pac-oscar..would do more than mayweather-oscar????mayweather promotes fight too good..you cant have 2 good guys and break records..someone has to play the villain role..and mr mayweather is a great guy for people to hate..they buy the fight just in the hopes he gets ko'd
yup!! I said that about the Roy-Calz fight....2 good guys can't sale **** to a toilet....Real Talk.....Floyd knows his roll
The major reason why it's only 1.25 mil is because one household would buy the fight and invite a bunch of people over and tell them to either pay a small fee or bring food over. That's what I did. I paid for it while a several of my family members went over and brought food. And I know since the economy isn't going so well, many other people did the same thing.

Doode that's what everyone does....who gets a fight and watches it by them selves?? bottom line the economy is crappy and it hurt the sales...but even with all that it still sold over 1 Milli.....that's a pretty good thing for boxing but it goes to show how much boxing is going to miss DLH once he is gone...what other fighter can generate this much money???
