Well **** as long as its all a aprt of boxing Tyson didnt need his elbow to keep Evander from headbutting and by biting the **** out of him he really WASNT cooperating now was he? Cheating to win does not make you great sorry if you are truly great you wouldnt need illegal tactics to win. If Tito never won a fight because of the dirty **** then why do it? To prove how big of an ******* he is or what? Granted some things do happen but these refs need to pay some ****ing attention. Ruiz's sorry ass should have been disqualified in his last 30 fights he excessively holds in every round of every fight.

I didnt see Evander slinging his head as a weapon. He just keeps it down and goes forward and Rahman stood there. Rahman should've been asking himself why he struggled with an old almost 40 year old shot fighter who James Toney KO'd and Chris Byrd clowned. When Rahman fought Ruiz you see why. Rahman is crap. Crying about Evander's head shouldn't have been his focus. It shoudl've been his boxing skills which Rahman has never improved. Guys like him look for excuses when they loose. Evander almost knocked him out from punches not headbutts

        Trinidad-Vargas

After surviving the 1st round, Vargas came back strong and was putting the heat on Trinidad. Each time he's in a tight fix, he'll hit Vargas low to give himself some breathing spell and break the momentum. It happened like 2,3 times i remember. Clever.

holyfield doesnt use his head as a weapon. He just charges with it, and if you get you in the way, it creams you. You cant justify what Tyson did, but at least i c why he did it.

Using your elbow in a professional boxing is legal unless you're not overdoing it! I mean, if you're just using it as a defense or when you're pressing a boxer who's about to go down and that would prevent him from holding that's just ok! But let's say the boxer uses his elbow like jacky chan, that's not boxing anymore, he should try to shift to karate instead, not boxing! Well, this is not a common call for a boxing match, have you ever seen a fighter been deducted a point for illegaly using his elbow? Because by using your elbow to cheat, that would be pretty obvious and the refere would naturally call it.

well, maybe, but im not arguing. that's just what i thought, holyfield used his head many times but not really caught because it's hard calling a head butt, the referee would always call it as an accidental head butt.

Trinidad will use that elbow to push a guy off to set up the left hook- but that doesn't mean he still isn't a brutal, vicious fighter. He is.

                      Tito "dirty"? Maybe, maybe not.

His behaviour overall, from fight to fight, probably doesn't warrant the "dirty" title.

However, on a given night, the tactics employed by one fighter could be "dirty" compared to the other. Or, should I say "dirtier"?

BHops would be regarded as "dirty" versus most of his opponents who weren't able to stay on the outside. Hops has never been subtle or discreet either, so we don't need to debate who was the dirty guy versus Tito.
