****** post. Floyd Mayweather does the same thing.

He doesn't use his elbow as a weapon like Tyson used to. he used to throw the hook and follow through w/the elbow to clip you if he missed.

Trinidad uses the elbow/forearm to prevent from being clinched and tied up. And he has leverage to pull out and throw a hook. Look at what Kostya did last night every time Mitchell tried to hold.

It's perfectly legal as long as u dont use the elbow as a weapon. you have a right to try to block or prevent a clinch. Excessive clinching and holding IS ILLEGAL
You need to learn boxing and what's happening and this will prevent you from idiotic posts in the future. Good day

Some of you speak as if Trinidad is/was the only fighter to be dirty. If some elbows bother you, then i guess you don't respect Bernard Hopkins, Fritzie Zivic, Eusebio Pedroza, Harry Greb, Sandy Saddler, and Gene Fullmer either. Those fighters wer just as dirty, if not moreso.

I don't remember those fighters throwing only less low blows than Golota.

Trinidad throws shot to the hips to freeze a fighter from running. Sometimes they stray low. Low blows have never been the reason he won a fight. Hopkins throws low blows blatantly when the ref is out of position clearly trying to annoy his opponent. He's called smart, canny and gritty and great for that. Trinidad hurt Mayorga with a hook to the body in the 4th round that was right on the border but it was legal. An inch lower and it's a low blow. **** happens. It's a fight. If you get hit low, you know waht you do? You don't whine like a little *****. You hit the ****er back. It's all even.

Julio Cesar Chavez loved to throw his elbows. If you throw the left hook, you've landed your share of elbows too.
