Is Margarito too Big to fight Pernal Whitiker?

    I think Whitaker would be able to compensate for the size better than anyone else who has ever graced the sport...

    The way his defense relied on ducking and slipping was so advantageous for him, because he was able to take literally 0 punishment while avoiding punches.

    I don't see many other fighters his size who would have been able to move up and beat Julio Cesar Vasquez at 154.

    Any other style of fighter that was Whitaker's size would be too small for Margarito.

    **** man... I really wish I would have been a fan when Whitaker was still around.

      No time at all. Whitaker thrived on challenges and looked for the toughest fights.

        I wasn't a fan either, but he was awsome. His win over Vasquez is pretty much forgotten, but a huge win over a very dangerous fighter.

              No, he isn't.

              Pernell would outbox him. I could see Margarito catching him with a shot now and then, but Whitaker had a fairly good chin.
