i speak for myself , bro. i don't speak for pac fans.

i don't care if pac fights floyd or not.

i'm not a fan of only undefeated fighters. it doesn't bother me if he losses to floyd or not. it wouldn't change anything for me as a fan.

i just kinda like the idea of arum saying that to floyd. it'd be funny.
I know that by this time tomorrow night all of the notorious pinoys on here will be saying the same thing that you said, that's all. That Hatton and Marquez deserve it more. Anything to avoid a fight with Floyd because even they know their boy would get starched.

I went through this **** with some of them last year. They hop from excuse to excuse like they've got coals under their feet. Well, some of them anyway.

But you're right, Arum might well say something like that to Floyd. We know they hate each other.

come on , dirt. obviously i'm just making guesses but they're informed guesses.

      they said 2-3 fights right?

what are the 3 fights that'll make the most money for pac?

hatton , marquez and floyd right?

unless they include a tuneup......but that'll at least mean 2 of the 3.

One thing I dont get. You guys are quick to go for a Floyd/Manny fight and even some say Manny wins, which hey, your entitled to your opinion. But yet Floyd is pu$$y for not fight Tony but Manny is WAY to small for Tony??

The bolded part is the truth. Manny is nearly Floyd size and at 147lbs he made Oscar look like a teenager by comparison. His leg muscles were bigger than Oscar's biceps.

I just don't believe fighters when they say x number of fights left. They hang it up when they hang it up, especially when there's more business to take care of. And there's always more business nowadays.

that's if pac (or roach and arum) doesn't want to fight floyd. that'll be the excuse but i think they accept if floyd wants it.

look. the thread was meant to be humourous. obviously arum isn't gonna turn down a big money fight with floyd and pac.

i'm just saying it would be funny if he did say it.

it's gonna be hatton-pac in may or june anyway. floyd-pac won't happen 'til end of 2009. why not ask floyd to fight a tuneup with cotto or marg?

That's exactly what i've been saying!!! "If" by any chance Mayweather does come out of retirement (which everyone is anticipating) he should establish himself into a weight class first, before challenging Pacquiao.

Mayweather's been retired for a year. There are some boxers out there who aren't retired and take that long of a lay off. So i don't think that Mayweather has lost anything....other than his placement.

Yeah sure, Mayweather was the best pound for pound fighter a year or so ago. But that seat has now been claimed by Pacquiao.

Regardless of what the skeptics think, Pacquiao is not boxing for the same motivations as Mayweather (this is all speculation as i don't know either one of them personally) It's apparent that Mayweather is materialistic and Pacquiao is a charitable contributor. My point is, different hearts of different fighters. But, both Pacquiao and Mayweather have tremendous heart.

Alls i'm saying is this: I personally think Mayweather should get some fights with people who've wanted to fight him before Pacquiao became main stream. I just don't agree with the theory: "I'm 'Pretty Boy Floyd' Mayweather Jr...i can fight whoever i want"

For all we know. Floyd could be at 140lbs. right now.

Making him fight Margarito or Cotto at 147lbs. would definitely make Floyd coming back down to 140lbs. more of a disadvantage... Exactly what Pacquiao's people want and need!

He wouldn't say that. Pacman/Floyd makes more $$$ than Cotto or margarito. He may try and attempt some options on floyd to fight them in the future if he cont. to fight, but he would be a fool to try and make demands. Afterall he is a businessman and this is a huge $$$ fight, that he won't be able to make dough off like this again.
