Manny Pacquiao Wants Ricky Hatton in May or June

Hatton most likely yes. But to be honest I think Manny will win, maybe not with ease, but most likely will he win. Hatton really didn't impress me against Malignaggi. Sure, Malignaggi fought in a rather odd way, but a guy using only his left hand and having no power what so over, he shoulda been knocked the **** out in the early rounds... I'm sure Manny would have put Malignaggi on his ass within the first 3 rounds. Malignaggi was open, fighting Hatton the wrong way, using almost only one hand, no power. He probably would have gone the distance with Hatton if they hadn't thrown the towel, he wasnt really in danger when the towel was thrown. I was simply not impressed with Hatton in that fight. Hatton is physically strong, that's really the only thing he proved in the fight.


So, my money is with Manny if the fight goes down. Manny is not God because he beat DLH. I felt that he would, DLH is not what he once was. But Manny still showed great timing and excellent boxing skills in that fight. I just think it will be too much to handle for Hatton.

hatton's face get cuts easily and manny is known to bust up faces.
i wouldn't be surprise if the stop the fight because of the cuts.

Malignaggi wasn't supposed to KO him, he was supposed to put a boxing clinic on which he didn't. Give Hatton credit for beating Malignaggi. I was wrong in that fight and I give Hatton his props.

I don't think so. Malignaggi has beenruined by 4 broken right hands, and he's gotten slower. Hatton should've been the overwhelming favorite.

I like Manny he's a GREAT fighter. As far as beating up DLH...its a marginal victory. I thought it was a terrible decision for DLH to take the fight in the 1st place. Hes obviously not the fighter he used to be along with the fact that he hasnt fought at that weight since 2001 against Gatti. The only reason Pacman was a 3-1 dog in that fight was because of the size difference. If they were naturally at the same weight Pacman would have been the favorite and that would have been because of the age factor. But all in all Pac did what he was supposed to do. And i hope he sends Hatton in to retirement on his back

I think Bob Arum wants Manny to fight in May or June. I don't think Manny has had any time to think about a future fight since he has been promoted to Godlike status in the philippines.
