Berto? Tune up fight? Berto wouldn't be a tune up fight. Berto is better than most opposition out there. He'd give Pacman a damn good fight.

I doubt it. Perhaps some celebrities and the MP team. This is what boxing needs, lively audience. I can hear them already, "There's only one Ricky Hatton"-"Manny,Manny,Manny"-"There's only one Ricky Hatton"-"Manny,Manny,Manny"

Lol... poor Berto, now he became a tune-up fight for Manny. Is that what a lot of people think of him? A gatekeeper?

plus before and after the fight people can still enjoy LV. additionally,I think the ppv#s will probably do better if it's vegas.

i dont understand why so many people want pacquiao to fight mayweather for, he has done absolutely nothing to earn a shot a manny.
earn a shot what type of drug are you on. beating floyd's leftovers in oscar don't make manny better then floyd.

manny hasn't faced a live threat in almost three years. beating a weight drained oscar somehow makes him better then floyd..

get your head out of manny's ass and get focused on the reality of the best fighter of this generation is coming back to kick manny's ass.

ricky earned the right to get his opportunity, and i think the public will be more excited about that match.
so manny wants somemore of floyd's leftovers you are right though ricky earned the right to face manny since he has been koed by floyd already

floyd is one of my favorites of all time, but the fact is he had the crown and retired when there was nobody left to fight but margarito or cotto, two guys in which floyd clearly did not want any part of.
margarito and cotto want no part of paul williams floyd retired on top because there were no real challenges to climb. he beats margarito and then what margarito had 5 losses already. he beats cotto then what cotto was overrated, just like hatton was when floyd beat him.

pacquiao represents the p4p title way better than floyd did, he gives everyone a chance to take his spot, and he just did what no other boxer had ever done before, and that is he whooped de la hoya's ass.
lets see since pac was named p4p#1 he has faced:

                1. marquez a fight where he got a gift decision

                2. david diaz the weakest champ at 135 (talk about cherry picking)

                3. skeletor dela hoya at 147

if manny was really p4p he would have stepped up and faced margarito and cotto at 147, why only fight oscar at 147

mosley, trininad, hopkins, mayweather all fought oscar and none hurt him half as bad as manny did. so the next fight should be pacquiao vs hatton, then floyd can return, but for now let him stay in his cave.
was oscar in his prime when he fought manny

                  Wow. You suck.

Get off Floyd's penis a moment and tell me this: Why should Pac have to fight Cotto and Margarito when Mayweather doesn't have to?

                  PS Fuck Floyd. He retired.

The cartoon factor of the Floyd-Hatton knockout is to much to over come, and I do not think you can really throw a hook better then the one Mayweather hit Hatton with (moving away, left handed) to me it is picture perfect. I also like how Hatton fell down after Cortez stepped in and stoped it.

I think this is an interesting fight, I have to think Hatton face is the weak link in the fight and Manny could catch him with something nasty but I think Hatton will make it a rough and tumble affair (I would like to see how Manny deals with that type of fight).

imo a beat down is worst than a 1 punch ko because you can argue that you got caught because you made a mistake, but if you get a beat down then it means that you got outgunned.

Hatton most likely yes. But to be honest I think Manny will win, maybe not with ease, but most likely will he win. Hatton really didn't impress me against Malignaggi. Sure, Malignaggi fought in a rather odd way, but a guy using only his left hand and having no power what so over, he shoulda been knocked the **** out in the early rounds... I'm sure Manny would have put Malignaggi on his ass within the first 3 rounds. Malignaggi was open, fighting Hatton the wrong way, using almost only one hand, no power. He probably would have gone the distance with Hatton if they hadn't thrown the towel, he wasnt really in danger when the towel was thrown. I was simply not impressed with Hatton in that fight. Hatton is physically strong, that's really the only thing he proved in the fight.

So, my money is with Manny if the fight goes down. Manny is not God because he beat DLH. I felt that he would, DLH is not what he once was. But Manny still showed great timing and excellent boxing skills in that fight. I just think it will be too much to handle for Hatton.
