Oscar should have fought Margarito. There would have been no shame in losing to Margarito, a guy he should have lost to, versus Pacquiao, the smaller fighter he should have beat. He would have gone out like a warrior too, losing to Margarito and gained a lot of respect.
Thank god Oscar didn't face Margarito.

90 % of the guys on the board would have probably called him a quitter. I doubt Oscar would let himself be KTFO'd.Oscar should have fought Margarito. Why would the bigger Margarito get more credit?
If anything people are going to be praising Pacquiao for years to come and even when he retires his win over De la Hoya will be one that you'll see fottage of whenever he's mentioned.
Plus, Margarito doesn't have a name like Pacquiao so if Tony would've fought him and beat Oscar, he definitely would've been praised, but nothing like how Manny is getting now.Comment

A lot of people are giving Manny credit, but there is this whole group of people who say Oscar was shot. I'm just saying that everyone knew Oscar was passed his best, but losing to a much smaller man has lead a lot of people to say he was shot to ****, on the other hand if he would have lost to Tony people would probably have suspected that type of result anway. My point is not as many people would be claiming he was shot as there are now, more people would be saying he was passed his prime but attributing the loss more to fighting a strong guy who was an elite fighter. Why would the bigger Margarito get more credit?
