I honestly think it was pacmans footwork that done oscar in. He has always had all the other stuff, and if there ever was a huge differnce maker above all improvements, it is his feet. It used to be that even fighters like Oscar Larios, velazquez, solis etc. Would pin pacquiao againts the ropes. For Diaz and hoya the fight was kept in the center of the ring. Pacquiao kept a distance that oscars jab couldn't get to but kept PAC within range with his foot speed. PAC tuned him to his left the entire fight and was out of reach as soon as hoya got straight.

Sure, and it also helped that win DLH did hit him, he had no pop on his shots.
You can miss a guy a hundred times a round, but when you hit him a couple of times and it hurts, it definitely changes the dynamics of the fight.

With the way PAC was moving, you can't blame hoya for not putting any steam behind his shots. PAC didn't afford him the luxury of loading anything without it being risky.

I couldn't believe what i was seeing when i saw Pacman totally outboxing Oscar. He never got his punches off, all night. I hope he retires. Imagine what Hatton or Margarito could do to him!!

Although I do agree, Oscar did look done here and did not look that great against Forbes.

I've been a big fan of oscar down the years, and like hatton said, this wasn't nice to see. Maybe it was his weight? Reminded of ali in 1980.
