    Good writeup.

    I actually thought Oscar's imbalance was more due to him swinging and missing, along with Pac's great footwork.


    A lot of people mention the dehydration as being a big factor in this fight, but really from looking at Oscar's physique it looks like he lost more lean muscle mass than anything, which is why he was able to stay around 147 even weeks before the fight, as well as why he only gained 2 pounds in between the weigh in and fight night.

      There was actually a moment in the 8th round where de la Hoya tried to throw a few jabs and almost fell over on his own. That was scary.

            Most said Manny couldn't beat Oscar if Oscar wasn't shot...he was...Manny did. Not that it wasn't impressive anyways; style counts. It just wasn't exactly Armstrong's 38 campaign where he beat Feldman, Arismendi, Ross, Ambers AND a prime Garcia. Pacquiao beating Hatton and facing Mayweather (which is not an impossible win because they aren't THAT far apart in size would be much closer to 38.
