de la hoya said in an interview that after coming down in weight he felt bad. he said he actually felt better in training camp while he was still around 158 159 160, but as he begin to starve himself he was getting weaker and weaker.

boxingscene reported that de la hoya said he had no power. manny pacquaio's victory is overblown and i gurantee that if he trys to fight another big name guy 140 or over his next fight he loses, beat it hatton or anybody else
true, but oscar caused this on himself. he figured he could starve himself down and still be competitive..he found out that the cowards way is not the best way. heo would have been better off staying active at 154 and winning a title after the floyd fight but he wanted to starve himself down to fight forbes and then pac..oscar is just ****** and deserved what he got

big win for pacman, but in all honesty...this just wasn't Oscar! if the fight was not fixed then it must have something to do with the weight! I love manny he's my second favorite fighter, but i cannot give him full credit for his victory over Oscar. Something was not right, it looked so fake, when was the last time Oscar placed himself on the ropes and just stood there like that? b-hop was not even close to doing that...seems odd to me, something just isn't right!

                  AND?

I don't like Fighters winning a fight on the scales, but the bottom line is, a SMART fighter should know that the fight starts at the negotiation table. Oscar should have never agreed to come down to 147, but his greed to get this fight made clouded his vision. He lost the fight as soon as he agreed on it being at 147...many of us just didn't know it; Freddie knew it.

I'm going to keep this fight and every fight before it that happened in similar fashion; in my mind just in case it happens again...Maybe I'll start taking a chance and betting.
It's the great advantage of knowing history; it repeats itself.

I wasn't positive either but I knew the possibilities. If I was as sure as Freddie; I may have placed a bet even though I've never gambled. It's not really ******** if you know the answer...right?

Only a delusional person would believe that pac could defeat a prime DLH but you gotta give pac props for taking the risk of accepting this fight even if dlh ended up being shot. I think people will take that into consideration after the initial excitement settles down.
