Remember what just happened to Kelly Pavlik?
He just got beat and looked very slow and lethargic against a BIGGER GUY.
Pavlik had bronchitis. Plus he's still young enough to improve. De La Hoya didn't have bronchitis, and he's declining. So I don't think it's a good analogy.

        Why?
Oscar is not a 145 pound fighter.....
Its easier to go up than to gown down in weight.
Nobody even tried to answer the basic questions I asked.
If Oscar is shot shouldnt Kelly Pavlik be considered shot too?
After all Kelly went up and looked slow against a guy who was the light heavyweight champion!

lol The nerve on this ****in twitchin ass douche bag..

To try and say "he needs to retire now." lol Shut the **** up already, Roach said the same **** about Hopkins just cause he couldn't get him to win, sayin the same **** about Oscar now...lol Neither Hopkins or Oscar make a livin beatin on stiffs though.

Anyways, watch De La Hoya come back for 1 or 2 more fights at 154 and be completely fine. lol ****in idiot..

hope he listens to freddie this time, he didnt last time and look what happend, he made freddie look like a einstien lol i do think dlh is done, there is nothin more for him to prove, i understand wanting to not go out like that but at least he lost to the best, if he fights again if will not be against the p4p champ and he still could get his a** handed to him again or put on another s**tty performence.

What I don't understand is, why didn't Oscar come into the fight much heavier?

He fought like Chrisy Byrd did the last time. There was nothing left. I am sure his name looks great on Manny's resume but this was not even the same Oscar that fought Floyd.

As I already said, because Pavlik had bronchitis, a seriously debilitating illness, when he fought Hopkins, which he will not have in his future fights, and also because Pavlik is still young enough to learn new tricks and improve, whereas De La Hoya is not.
