No question about it, Oscar needs to accept that he does not have anymore physical strength to continue boxing.

Yeah he needs to retire but he will have one more match where he can go out with a win. i dont think he would want to go out on a loss.

I don't think DLH will go out like that. He should fight a Forbes type of fighter on ESPN(LOL) and retire. He's no longer PPV material.

                  I have an analogy here.
Remember what just happened to Kelly Pavlik?
He just got beat and looked very slow and lethargic against a BIGGER GUY.
he fought at a weight he never fought at and he kinda looked like DLH.
He looked slow,COULDNT PULL THE TRIGGER and got beat up.
Is anyone telling him to retire?

I dont understand how someone who fought a fighter FASTER than PACMAN last year could look so slow in 1 year.
Remember his last 3 opponents have all been little fast guys.
                  Maybe thats the problem.
Plus DLH fought at a weight he hasnt been at for years.
Maybe DLH should go back to 154 or even 160.
But to say DLH is shot......I really cant say because then you have to say PAVLIK is shot because the same thing happened to him.

I feel bad for Oscar but at least the guy beating him was a good guy like PACMAN.
Imagine if Mayweather had put this kinda beating on Oscar?
Look at the fight PACMAN had with DIAZ....diaz looked just a bad as Oscar....worse.
                  Is he shot?

yeah i know he was way slow, way hesitant, and looked weight drained and weak all fight long from start to finish!!! i think oscar should retire but if he wants to go out like a winner..........i'd say let him fight chavez jr. CHAVEZ JR VS OSCAR AT 154!!! THATS A SOMEWHAT GOOD FIGHT THAT DE LA HOYA CAN WIN!!! PLUS DE LA HOYA SHOULDA NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE UNDER 150 LBS AT THIS STAGE OF HIS CAREER!!! HE WAS SIMPLY TOO WEAK!!! AND THE FACT THAT THE SMALLER MAN (PACMAN) WEIGHED A POUND AND A HALF MORE THAN OSCAR COME FIGHT TIME WAS WEIRD!!! PACMAN WAS AMAZING!!! THE TRUE POUND 4 POUND KING!!! HE IMPRESSED THE **** OUTTA ME LAST NIGHT AND THE WHOLE WORLD TOO, WHAT A FIGHTER!!! GO PACMAN!!! FROM WHAT I SAW FROM THE PACMAN LAST NIGHT I THINK HE WOULD TAKE HATTON OUT IN LESS THAN 5-6 ROUNDS!!!! EASY!!! JUST PICK HIM APART LIKE HE DID OSCAR!!!
