But now Pacquaio has beat De La Hoya, Which was NOT expected. It sets up this MASSIVE fight, which I expect won't be called a "sizeable mismatch" unlike the De La Hoya fight.

Personally I think a Mayweather v Pacquiao fight would be truely amazing

I'd much rather see Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton. It would be more competetive and entertaining.
Nate Campbell and Juan Diaz too..
And Now you have Jorge Linares at Super Featherweight!!

Pacquiao would smash Hatton to pieces.

Hatton would be hit ALL night long, hasn't got a chance.

I dunno, I think it would be a good fight but if Mayweather fights Pacquiao before fighting either Cotto, Margarito or Williams he is considered ATG ***** IMO.

....That one would be a "real" super fight. As fans we should be calling for it hard right now. I will never sell Manny short again. No pun intended.

Lightweight was a long time ago buddy.. of course people are gonna be unsatisfied with him as of lately.

Actually, some of us DID think about it. When Floyd weighed 149 on fight night vs. Baldomir and Pac weighed 144 vs. Morales, I remember a lot of us saying "if only 5 lbs. separate the two best fighters in the world, why shouldn't they fight? The answer was that everyone believed Floyd would easily win, so they didn't talk about this fight very much.

no it wouldn't... there's no one pbf could beat that people would give him respect... just like how people refuse to respect pac after whupping dlh...
