Last night... Would Hatton have been able to stop DLH??

I believe it would have been a very similar outcome to what happened against pac man. Not taking anything away from manny, it was a great well deserved win...
But DLH looked extremely weight drained, he didnt look good at all, no pop on any of his punches, footwork was almost non-existant.. Not only hatton, but it looked like half the weltwerweight division would have dismantled oscar. If he is ever going to fight again, then it needs to be at 154 no doubt about it.

Hatton has a better chance at beating pac at 140 then oscar did at 147 hands down.

I could see when Oscar walked in, he didn't look good at all. He appeared to be sick.

Thats debatable. Most fighters look very slow when paired with PacMan. Barrera looked very shot and old in 2003 when PAC demolished him but he went still went on to win alot of great fights after that. Morales looked tired and ruined after brawling with PAC. DDiaz was made to look like a punching bag.Point is, alot of great and good fighters suddenly look shot after their rumble with Manny. Oskee was just the latest among them.

Its possible Hatton may have defeated Dela Hoya but i seriously doubt that. Hatton was never any good at 147. He was KOed by Mayweather and he was hurt by Collazo. And he doesnt have the speed of PAC, the in and out movement, the relentless attack from all angles. Furthermore, the Dela Left Hook which never found Packy will land on Hatton when he moves in.

No. Oscar didn't punch because it goes against any fighters instinct to throw when they can't hit what they are throwing at. It just creates more risk. Time has again and again proven this to be true when fighters inexplicably lock up and appear not to be trying. Oscar couldn't hit Manny. He was tryng, he just didn't have the ability. Whether it is because he's shot or Manny is amazing is irrelevant, but Ricky's style isn't. My mom could hit Ricky Hatton. Oscar/Hatton is still a competitive fight, I think, or at least Oscar takes a few rounds before he is outclassed clearly and makes it the distance.

Floyd Sr and Fatton surely doesn't think so, afterall, they were very vocal that they strongly preferred to face PAC because Joto would've been a bad styles matchup for them.

I wonder if they still have the same opinion(hehe). And considering that Floyd Sr proclaims himself as the best trainer in all of the universe, he did train Joto for several years, so he surely has more insight on Joto than Roach, who only trained Joto for a month and a half.

You mean to tell me that if Oscar threw his jab on his toes he wouldn't find Pacquaio? He would. Fighters don't throw when they can't hit, they don't throw when you hit them with something to make them stop from doing what they want. He not only lost himself physically, but also technically. I don't know if it was the trainer or whatever. But to call him "a shell of himself", like Jones is, would be a disgrace to the term. It looked like he hadn't practiced his punches since May.

Delaoldya is more shot then Roy Jones Jr., Roy at least showed flashes of his prime self, Delaoldya showed ****.

Hatton would have murdered Delahoya on this night.

Ricky would've stopped Oscar last night. Oscar just seemd that he had aged in one fight. I know he didn't look too good against Forbes, but he looked completely shot last night. Ricky may have done him more damage, particularly with his left to the body.

Unless DLH had some kind of virus last night, he should retire now. Ricky, Margarito, Cotto and Williams would destroy him.

I reckon Pacman is going to break the record of being champion at the most weight divisons by the time he retires! Legend!!
