But DLH looked extremely weight drained, he didnt look good at all, no pop on any of his punches, footwork was almost non-existant.. Not only hatton, but it looked like half the weltwerweight division would have dismantled oscar. If he is ever going to fight again, then it needs to be at 154 no doubt about it.

Hatton has a better chance at beating pac at 140 then oscar did at 147 hands down.
give pac some muh****in credit... pac is simply too fast too good for dlh...

against an orthodox style dlh might've done better... calderon said it himself, dlh has trouble with speed and southpaws... hatton isn't a speedy southpaw

the truth is dlh didn't take pac seriously, that's why his dumb ass was 147 on fight night... for sure if he was fighting hatton dlh would weight around 165 lbs. That means hatton would be in big big trouble

it was a combination of pac's speed, head movement and great footwork plus dlh's going down in weight. manny has carried his power and speed at 147 and took dlh's shot rather with ease. he has the most underrated chin in the sports today and was able to absorbed some of dlh's power shots.

pac defense and skills are also underrated mainly because he gets a few times and looks awkward at times with his leap-frogging ability, coming in and out. last night he proved that he is light years ahead of what he was when he barged into the scene in 2001 with just brute power and a no non-sense come forward offensive wrecking machine.

oscar was in the high 140's midway into his training and his team was confident about his weight reduction and conditioning. i was surprised that he only gained 2 lbs a day after the weigh in going into the fight. i think they wanted to gain speed and possibly match manny's but it proved futile last night.

on another note, dlh would have prepared differently for hatton for this fight and it would have been at 140 rather than 147. also, hatton is no pac. he is slower and hittable. he might have a chance but i doubt he he would have done what pac did last night.

pac is on a different league and is a rare fighter. we should be glad that he came in our generation. he and his likes are exactly what boxing needs today.

Anyone would have beaten DLH that night. I mean that was a weird fight...DLH just didn't throw.

If ODLH fought the same way he did last night...then the answer is yes!

hatton is a straight forward fighter. he would have been hittable all night by dlh. if u notice, pac kept his distance well and exploded whenever he want to. hatton can NEVER do what pacquiao did. even with the granpa version of dlh

Hatton would have probably won by outworking Oscar. I think that Oscar made a big mistake with the weight thing. Manny is very good, better than some thought and Oscar by coming in so light was unatural and took away the size advantage. One of the few advantages he could have had.

It's easy for Hatton fans to say that he would've done the same to Oscar last night, because of PAC's vicious assault.

PAC is PAC and Fatton is, well, the great white hope(hehe)

If that's the case, then why were Fatton and Floyd Sr adamant on a PAC matchup. Fatton and camp weren't too enthusiastic about DLH, yes the $$$ woud've been greater, but matchup wise, Fatton gonna turn into a full-time alcoholic after the drubbing PAC gonna give him.

I was thinking about that. DLH looked shot and weight drained. So, I was wondering if Hatton had taken the fight against DLH instead of his fight with Malignaggi what would have happened. And I really don't think Hatton would have done to DLH what Pacquiao did. Pacquiao was making DLH move and Hatton would have been wrestling with DLH.

The movement is what tired DLH against Floyd and that was at a more comfortable weight. Against Pacquiao DLH didn't even look like he came to the ring with much, but if he'd have been able to fight in spurts he'd have been ok. Pacquiao didn't let him fight in spurts. He made him work and that was the difference to me. I might be wrong, but I don't think Hatton would have done that to DLH.
