he doesn't need, in any way, to mess with dudes like Marg and Williams. PBF might win, but he and Manny are closer in natural size than even he and Oscar and it would be an interesting fight.

I'm guessin this is exactly what PBF wanted. An upset win for Pac that gives him a chance to reclaim his #1 p4p spot, make a ****load of $, and be able to do so without fightin a full fledged WW. I think the fight will happen. Despite draggin DLH thru the torture chamber, I still don't think he'd beat PBF, although PBF wouldn't win by the ownage I woulda guessed before.

listen i love what pac-man did, but lets not get crazy here...mayweather unless he lost alot of his skills while enjoying his retirement would totally devast pac-man....pac-man lounges in with just about every punch, he leaves his head exposed....against a fighter like Oscar at this late stage of his career, as Roach said Oscar cannot pull the trigger anymore.Oscar couldn't touch him......against a fighter with the speed and accuracy of Mayweather Pac-man would be eating shots left and right, while looking downright amateurish as he misses Mayweather......I hope and pray this fight is made......it would be Mayweather's easiest victory, in my opinion.....I just hope it happens right now, while everyone clearly views Pac-Man as the best P4P champ out there.....that way mayweather can tell all of you to STFU.

only margarito nuthuggers will be upset. face it, margarito was nobody till he beat cotto......hella ppl are gonna be upset if margarito doesn't fight PW next year sometime, that's who he should be concerned about, not FMJ.....

floyd-pacman is much more intriguing, pacman is #1 p4p, not margarito, and the bottom line will be the bottom line actually- floyd makes A LOT more against pac than he does against margarito.......

Without a doubt, can see it being a box office record. However, if Mayweather leaves it too long and just comes into to a fight with Pacquiao with no warm up he could be in trouble as I see Pac elevating himself onto an even higher level this time next year. With Pac's speed and explosive power, he'll pose a massive threat to Floyd. If Floyd just comes back without a tune up he won't be as sharp as the Floyd we've seen in recent year's. If his reflexes go he will be finished, end of.

I still see it as a very close UD or SD in favour of Mayweather, but only if he doesn't let his ego take control and just come into a fight with Manny.

Pac vs. Hatton in May/June, Floyd fighting around the same time then Floyd vs. Pac this time next year at a catchweight around 142-145. Ideal solution to get two of the best fighter's of our era in the ring at the same time, both in top physical condition battling it out for pound for pound supremacy!
