  • Pacquiao-Mayweather Countdown Begins: Report Card

By Cliff Rold - The pre-fight build was clear…if a 35-year old Oscar De La Hoya (39-6, 30 KO) was shot, if he couldn’t pull the trigger, then 29-year old current Lightweight and former Flyweight champion Manny Pacquiao (48-3-2, 36 KO) had a shot. [details]

Pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I saw Pac winning tonight but not like this. That **** was unreal. Amazing.

If Floyd doesn't make this dance happen it will literally be a crime against humanity.

I agree with you guys. Mayweather gets knocked the **** out in 6 rounds or less. He should stay retired and just make verbal threats or say he never heard of Manny though.

well depends. floyd is too cheap for a tune up. but if hes rite on fight night, he wins. too much defense and hes in his prime. guzman would skool pacman but less power. mayweather is smarter.

Although I somewhat fail to see the comparison to Armstrong at welterweight (Armstrong was dominant at the weight, regardless of how or who he won the title from, something I can't imagine Pacquiao being), this is indeed the fight on everyone's lips at the moment. Personally I still see Mayweather winning in dominant fashion, regardless of what weight at which it may occur (147? 140? who holds the cards now in the decision?).

A weightdrained Pacquiao beat Marquez twice..

He will KO Mayweather in less than 10 rounds.

This fight should be at 142 or 140.
