damn pacquiao just pulled off a major upset over a bigger and naturally stronger fighter and people still hating on pac? i hate when people say "oh hes shot","hes not in his prime anymore" and bull**** like that, who da hell cares, if you get in the ring, youre telling opponent that you are ready for the bout, if you dont feel good, cancel the fight.

oscar trained really hard to make a weight limit he hasnt been in since 2001,that shows he was determined to win. lets jus be thankful that we have a pound 4 pound king that is actually taking challenges and facing real competition. i mean i love floyd mayweather but he couldve fought so many top notch fighters before retiring.

now the opportunities for manny are endless, from this point on,he IS boxing.
he jus beat the same guy that almost killed mayorga, the same guy that beat up on boxers who took steroids to face him(fernando vargas, shane mosley 2)
so this is a big moment, cuz he jus ended a hall of fame career.

oscar now has to live through all the jokes that are gonna be said about him in the following days.i know he has endless money but hes still human, hes gonna be hurtin insinde when boxers like juliio cesar chavez(who he admired)laugh at him along with antonio margarito, miguel cotto, juan manuel lopez, marco ant. barrera and many more that spoke out negatively about this event.

manny could face ricky hatton in the UK,that fight to me will be the best fight ever in recent history.look at their styles, picture them colliding cuz they both come forward with relentless pressure,i hope that happens.

or if he wants more money, he could lure floyd mayweather out of his cave and fight him in an even bigger megafight.and he will have a serious chance at beating the seemingly unbeatable preety boy.

or if he wants to take an even greater risk, he could face antonio "brickface" margarito.he could easily make margo drop weight and he'll do it for the money and he will also think it will be an easy fight.

but the fight i want him to make is the third one vs juan manuel marquez, i highly doubt it would happen, cuz theres much more money elsewhere but this is the only fight a real boxing fan should wanna see. marquez has yet to lose to manny in a convincing way, many felt he got robbed in the rematch, like i did, and the first one was a classic war.

but if youre a boxing fan, you should be happy for pacquiao, how many big name fighters take risks like these??

so the result doesnt surprise me at all. i always knew he was a quitter so i
feel vindicated. he is the most over rated fighter of all time. and now he quit
on the stool against a fighter 3 weight classes below him. this is a truly great
night in the sport of boxing. good bye golden girl i for one am happy to see
      your punk ass go

WTF you mean Tito exposed his weak boxing skills. DLH out boxed the hell out of Tito. What fight were you watching ? Why not learn a little about boxing before you comment.

Oh and was anyone else screaming through a ****in punch about Oscar ? The dude wasn't throwing **** i mean if you are getting tagged trying to block punches you might as well start throwing punches if you cant block ****.

What do you mean? JMM is going to ge older and Manny not, or you mean both fighters will get older (equally) except JMM will be too old to fight. I would like to see them fight and hopefully in the near future. Don't blame manny because JMM made a name at such an old age. He should have started when he was younger, oh wait EM and MAB were in his way, now that their gone JMM finally appears. JMM is a good fighter but too many wrong moves for in his career and you know it. His resume is weak compare to EM, MAB, and MP. Unfortunately for JMM, he's getting to old to fix it, maybe in another life.
Afraid of JJM3? Nice try. Maybe he's afraid of not getting paid enough, this I believe. MP has mentioned that he would only fight JMM for the right money (purse) AND that the fight be promoted by his company. In the end its all about money and I should not need to tell you that. It's the same reason why JMM wants PAC and why PAC wants Hatton/Mayweather. Unforunately for JMM, he is in the bottom of the food chain and you know why, resume builds fans.

I don't think Mayweather would have stopped him because he wouldn't have opened up enough. Pacquaio had the can of whoop ass open from round 1. BUT, if Money May fights Pacquaio I can't bet against Money May. I think it's his fight.

And finally, I know I should be sympathetic but I can't find any sympathy. De La Hoya you've let myself and other fans down for the last time all the while saying your normal quotes, "I'm in the best shape of my life blah blah". I'm done with you and your legacy has went to ****. And at the end of the day your the only one to blame.
AMEN!!! YOU HIT IT RIGHT ON THE HEAD!!!

Damn right Roach was right. DLH just stood there like a punchin bag and got beaten like *****. Pac should still get full cred for this win tho. I was against this fight from the start cuz I figured lil Pac had no business at WW and would be massacred, but Roach was spot on. Takin punches, gettin off punches, maintainin balance, footwork, none of that **** was there for DLH. This was a smart call and smart fight for Roach to put Pac in. Arum might never stop smilin after this. He's really lovin Pac now.

Margarito? Are you nuthuggers kidding me? Margarito doesnt deserve that kind of fight. He still has some unfinished business with the last guy to defeat him. But it wouldnt suprise me if he talked **** about Oscar fighting the smaller Manny then accepted a fight with him.

Oscar said this fight was "personal" - yeah, personal greed.
Well, he got his millions, but he ruined his legacy.

This ex 160-pound beltholder got dominated and stopped by an ex 106-pounder.
                    Hilarious.

Oscar, you're the true meaning of the word '*****'.

Wow, I bet all the people hating on this fight look kinda silly right now. I had Oscar by Ko by the way, but I didn't think this was "bad for the sport" a "circus act" or any other term that was being thrown out to describe this fight.

Manny delivered a great performance and sent Oscar into retirement.
