The words that sparked the "Dream Fight," trainer Freddie Roach telling reporters that Oscar De La Hoya could no longer "pull the trigger." One of my posts said it would be smart for Freddie to hush up about what he was saying about Oscar because it will downgrade Manny's Win...but, I'm also glad he said it because he was showing an honest informed opinion that showed true. People need to start paying attention to everything instead of what they remember or liked to remember about a fighter.
I fall into this same trap sometimes so I'm with a group as well.
I suck too sometimes
NO LEGS = SHOT
Glad to see Freddie point that out.
Weight loss has a lot to do with this as wellLast edited by Benny Leonard; 12-07-2008, 02:03 AM.Comment

Props to Roach for setting up the perfect fight for his man. All these supposed experts went on about how this was a bull**** fight but no one knows Manny and DLH better than Roach and he was correct about DLH no longer being able to pull the trigger at this stage.Comment
