  • Why I think the fight was thrown by Oscar

    1. DLH can make more money promoting a Mayweather - Pacquiao fight than a Hatton - DLH fight.
    2. Millie De La Hoya showed no emotion the entire fight, she looked like she knew how it was gonna end.
    3. He'll still probably fight Hatton anyways.
    4. I dont think hes shot, he looked good against Mayweather and Forbes and he hasnt taken much punishment in his career.

So people keep asking "why would he throw the fight?" Because theres more money to be made in a Pacquiao - DLH fight than the alternative.

Im a huge Paquiao fan and hate DLH, but this was a thrown fight.

No way. Oscar doesnt throw fights. You're all getting hung up on these conspiracy theories. Oscar cares more about his legacy than he does about the legacy of his company. I would go to the grave believing that.

And round 7, Millie was the only one standing, shouting for Oscar to throw something back, anything. This wasnt a movie.

I am sure that Pac should deserve a BJ from Millie DLH after the beating he gave to her husband.

If Oscar cared about legacy he would have fought Margarito. He didn't. He picked a fighter that people were dismissing as too small to fight Hatton.

If Oscar is anything, he is greedy. Oscar doesn't care about legacy, he cares about money.

no.. oscar crumbling on the canvus and then smashing his fist on the mat after a supposed "debilitating" body punch = thats throwing a fight....

gettin beat down and quitting on your stool is the exact opposite of throwing a fight...

Avoiding a fighter and throwing a fight are two different things.

In 10 years will anyone remember Oscar ducked Margarito (if Marg goes on to be beaten by Williams, Cotto etc). But they will remember the loss to Pacquiao. A fight he had to win. No way would Oscar have allowed his career to end like this.

anyways... who knows.... i thought hes gonna avenge all the mexicans who got beat up by pacquiao and then he will just forfeit the fight.

pac was too good for dela hoya. w/ this performance, his chance of beating pbf is not far-fetched!

Give the guy a break, there's no need to kick a man when he's down by questioning his honor. DLH looked like less than a shell of his former self and unfortunately it's time for him to call it a career.
