Thats what movement and speed will do, a la Hopkins Pavlik.

When will people think. Oscar killed himself to make weight. The guy put on two pounds in over 24 hours. What did he do - not drink or eat anything?? He should have been at least 150-160. Even Manny put on over 6 1/2 pounds.

You're joking, right? this is the Oscar who weighed in at his lightest in, what, 8 years? and he didn't take training seriously enough.

you do know oscar went back 7 pounds right? loosing weight and going back a few pounds it's way harder than going up if you didn't know (take roy jones jr for example).

Why must people insist that DLH threw this fight? He just couldnt deal with Pac's speed and footwork. People say that DLH would usually throw down and go to war and that he'd never take a beating like the one tonight. But how do you think he goes about touching Pacquiao up when he cant land his jab effectively and is getting popped shot every time he tries to set and throw.

Pacquiao's team had the right gameplan from day one. Pac deserved this win. DLH is just a shadow of his former (great) self.

Is Everyone Ready To Wake Up Now?

I'm so tired of being ****ed around by ****ty promoters and overhype fighters who rely on the behind the scene powers to set up their wins.

Boxing has always been my #1 sport. I love the game. But enough is enough. It's time for people to let these ****ing promoters and glam fighters that we will no longer let them drain us for every cent only to produce something that has already been scripted weeks before the fight takes place.

I said this was going to happen and it went just the way I was told. **** Oscar. **** Pacquiao. **** Golden Boy and Top Rank. They are dead set on milking us for every cent before they run this great sport into the ground.

We fans are the bloodline of the sport --- we are not ******. We can make them do things right. We are in control more than you think. Do not support their fights. Don't buy their PPV bull**** and most of all question bizarre fights that are signed. There is so much going on behind the scenes -- you guys have no idea.

Wake up fight fans. Stand up for yourselves.

                    Quote From Vanderlei on December 3, 2008 - 12:12PM

"A reliable source has told me Oscar plans to DIVE in the 8th.

Any gamblers out there, make sure to hit up the sports book."

i also thought there was something fishy about the fight, it was too easy, about oscar not throwing anything at all on the later rounds...

but what alibata said could be true, if he threw the fight, it shouldnt be that one-sided, he had a reputation to protect. he could have won a round or two.

maybe it was the combination of pacman's speed, his great weight loss, age, etc.. or even the total feeling of being intimidated/helpless/outclassed that made him virtually punchless on those later rounds..like what i saw in the Jones-Calzaghe fight..

manny is just one of the best fighter out there
