Pacquiao fought a great fight, great gameplan but DLH is shot.
I would agree with you that Oscar looked shot if he tried to mount an offense and failed, but that is not what happened. When Oscar did mount an offense, he was effective, but backed off.

When the camera panned to Millie, she did not seem surprised, nor distraught. Bernard Hopkins was not visible at ring side trying to shout instructions to Oscar.

All of these things together indicate to me that they all knew what was suppose to happen.

I don't think Pacman was suppose to dominate in such emphatic fashion, but his acting skills are not all that great as we have seen in his previous theatrical engagements.

Id be willing to bet that either A) Pacman moves to GoldenBoy or B) TopRank and GoldenBoy merge.

I don't care how shot a fighter is, the power is the last thing to go. Oscar was not throwing with power, he was not trying to throw with power, nothing.

I would be able to believe the results if we could see him TRYING to throw with power, or TRYING to get off, but he simply wasn't. He was pity patting tapping with his jab, all of his punches were soft, not weak, soft.

There is a noticeable difference between a weak fighter trying to trow a hard punch, and a stronger fighter throwing soft shots. Oscar was throwing soft shots.

I am disappointed that I payed for this farce, although I did glean a little bit of satisfaction from Manny beating the **** out of Oscar for putting on such a piece of **** show.

Possibly THE WORST ppv event I have ever bought.

We got what, a total of 11 round of action out of the entire event? None of them were even remotely competitive. I want my money back.

Oscar is not as shot as you think.

What made him shot is Manny plain and simple.

If OScar fought Floyd today, I'm sure Floyd would be contented with touching Oscar's face and balls.

Manny fought an entirely different fight. He's the aggressor and weakened Oscar with all kinds of shot.
I really HATE the HATERS they could not give credit where credit is due, even calling the fight rigged...

But bro we got to admit Roach was right and Oscar cant pull the trigger anymore, he was YEARS past his prime and tonight he was SHOT by manny...

He was trying, again it's a sign of a fighter's faculties deteriorating, it's the age old case of a fighter seeing an opening but not being able to take advantage of it because of age. And when a fighter is shot, his legs go which takes away leverage which takes away power, DLH always relied on leverage to generate power, he isn't the type of guy who hurts opponents with arm punches.

A guy that throws a fight won't take that kind of punishment.

I agree that it was a horrible PPV though.

how is dlh trying to throw the fight by getting his ass whupped? he should've went down on the first body shot and pounded the canvas again... then i'd believe the fix was in..

But pac is an ATG and one of the best that ever lived

The organization wouldn't let Pacquaio knock De La Hoya last night.

Pac deserves all the credit in the world. He might not have done as well if everyone didn't expect him to lose, ala Hopkins.

i knew he would beat another odd against him once again. i have never wavered my belief in pac. i should've have bet more. it if just went to +200, i should have bet and won more.

but pac is top 10 ATG for now, no doubt.

props to pac for putting philippines on the boxing map once more - the land of kali and the fiercest warriors on the planet.

you can't please anybody...but these pacquiao detractors are just plain haters. they're so fu**n' "unwise" even after what they've witnessed in front of them.
