I give Froch credit for beating his opponent but a lot of his flaws were still evident in tonights fight and would get exploited by Bute, Taylor, and Kessler.
I agree - Pascal isn't even in The Ring's top 10 at super-middleweight. The WBC ratings are ridiculous, IMO.

Journeyman Pittman nearly KO'd Pascal. Pascal took the best shots from Froch and wasn't even dazed. The english limies think Froch has devastating power because he KO's polish bouncers. They wouldn't give a **** about him if he wasn't english. He showed against Pascal, he's average at not even top level.

I think this should answer all questions about Pascal's heart. He could have done better by using his speed more and avoiding the exchanges and fighting smarter but he put on a praise worthy performance.

Quite a few other people seem to rate him unduly highly as well, judging by the number of posts here saying that Taylor would beat Froch easily. The Ring rates Taylor as the number 5 super-middleweight, and I would say that's about right.
Lacy doesn't count, yet he's better than anyone Carl Froch or Jean Pascal had faced prior to stepping into the ring for the WBC belt tonight?

Who should the WBC rate ahead of Taylor, considering Bute, Kessler, Inkin, and Bika all hold belts of their own so won't be getting ranked? That leaves the likes of Andrade, Miranda, Green, Zuniga, Ward, Dirrell etc... you could make a case for Andrade, but not really for anyone else. Dirrell is a beast though, and should be getting a title shot soon. I think he is Inkin's mandatory, actually...

While Taylor may underperform, he is anything but overrated considering how many people rate him so poorly.
I agree my fellow Arkansan. Taylor is a tough motha****er. Pavlik only knocked him out because he was exhausted. He took some massive shots and still wasn't out cold like some knockouts. I think Taylor vs Froch would be a good fight.....for Froch to get his over-rated ass kicked!!!!

Damn, I picked Froch by TKO. But he's gonna get schooled and possibly stopped by Taylor, and I think any of the other top guys in the division. I think Froch vs Andrade would be a great fight though.

This is what Boxing is all about. Especially when you're a huge fan of one of the men fighting. The fight had me out of my seat all night, it was scary viewing.

I wish i was sitting much closer to the ring, as all night i was screaming at Froch to hold his hands up, and show some defense. At the world level, he cannot afford to do this as it could lead to a fatal mistake.

While watching the fight, one man i thought of immediatly that could give a better fight is Froch V Andrade. That would be explosive!

I also thought if Taylor was in the ring instead of Pascal, Froch would be getting exposed. All credit to Pascal for fighting a war he didn't have to. When you have the edge in speed, he should capitalise on it. This is where Taylor would take the advantage. He is a smarter fighter, and avoiding Froch's power punches, would see him gas out sooner. I hope Taylor doesn't avoid this fight. It could be interesting.

Kessler is also a smart fighter, and unless Froch improves the defense, i see him decisioning Carl. Bute doesn't impress me, and i see Froch knocking him out. Taylor, Kessler and Andrade are the men Froch should look to fight. Unless Mundine moves back to 168.

Kessler is gonna knockout Froch and Dennis Inkin beat Taylor, Andrade by UD and be the number 1 supermiddleweight.
