freddie is using what i call "mental warfare"..he really isnt to concerned about oscar's handwraps as he is about oscar the fighter. freddie is a competent trainer and knows the ins and outs of the fight game. he is trying to disrupt the camp of oscar.

Well Pac is Roaches prize fighter. He also needs to tell them Oscar to keep his damn cup low. He wears them all the way up to cover his damn body for goodness sakes and gets away with it everytime. Pac will need every advantage he can get to win this fight, especially since hes not making close the the 20 million he wanted for fighting Oscar.

This is more for his legacy now, then it is money. Money he gets, but the risk isn't really worth the reward, if Pac comes out of this fight Brain damage, by Oscar cheating in some way with wrapping his hands illegally to make it do more damage.
