Why couldn't Oscar train as hard and get down to 147 to fight Floyd?

What people forget also is that Oscar was the WBC Champion at 154.

Cuz it gives him physical advantages. Pretty obvious.

Oscar had been fighting above that weight for 6 years before he fought Floyd, so there is no proof that today's Oscar would/will benefit from fighting at 147.
Well he looked faster and sharper at 150 against 2 lbs, not sure I like him coming in at 145 though.

You guys are missing the point. So in other words Oscar was a ***** and felt that the only way he'd win is to fight Floyd at 154 and not 147. But he's brave enough to fight Pac at 147. Ok, gotcha.

He wanted advantage over Floyd. Just like Floyd didnt go down to 140 for Hatton....he wanted the advantage. Against Pac he doesnt need the advantage.
