Well For him I should be goo.. faster guys are usually able to hit me with uppercuts every now and then not alot though. But his arms are long so i dont see that happening on the inside. He has a killer uppercut from outside though.. saw him k.o. a guy in the one fight i saw.
OK so The Guy I'm fighting is 6'3 180.

Well he waits on the ropes sometimes im told...
he hits hard im told..
and I see that he def has a longer reach...
Not very active but the power may make up for that im guessing..
he has more experience having 16 fights.. *(my trainer matched us and I trust him)*
he loves the 1-2-3 he uses it alot.
and seems to have a decent chin.
I'm faster than him in handspeed and foot movement.
He sorta just comes forward and throws his combos. Stamina is very questionable.Comment

Never forget about your jab. I don't care if his arms are 3 miles long. Even if you aren't touching him with the jab, it gives him something to think about while you close range.Comment

good luck m8t, hope u win.
Your trainer must think you have adecent shot of winning or he wouldnt put u in there.
As said before use your jab alot, keep him thinking and dont let him get into a rythem with the 1-2-3.
When he comes forward keep flicking the jab, this will discourage him form steaming in and give you some time to set up your next shot or move out the way.

well from these informations i would say try to dictate the pace with your jab, but keep watching him and be ready to counter him with a left hook if he tries to jump in from the outside. keep moving with your feet, dont be stationary and jab him to the body as well, so he will tire up and be confused.Well he waits on the ropes sometimes im told...

even if youre shorter, if hes not too fast a strong jab to the body is very effective after a feint. Dont try straight rights than after a few rounds. But try to get his respect with some good 12s so he will think twice before stepping in...
he knows hes got power so maybe hell try to ruff you up early, so be careful. If he invites you on the ropes, id suggest hit him and then go away moving back and to the side not to get countered. But dont stay there too much cause you might do his fight
If this is at least a six rounder you might try to tire him up and then unload on him late, while you pile up points in the process. But most of all listen to your coach he surely knows you and him better than us!
Good luck and keep us posted!Comment

You're obviously shorter than him so use it as an advantage. Stay low and make him reach for you and give up his height. Staying low, your body is already compacted. He will be leaning in and giving you loads of target.I've been told by my trainer that he has K.O. power.
He has 16 fights.
I'm usually able to use my jab ... I'm ruling that out.
My trainer says it should be a Good night for me if I just be myself and not to think about his reach-ko's and the look of his body.
What plan do you think I should come in the ring with next week?
*(sorry if someone gets mad that i posted here.. I just wanted to get as many responses as I could)*
I got my height checked and I'm just like a ceni under 6 foot.
And I wouldn't say to give up your jab, I'd just say use it different. When he uses his jab, pick it off with your right and jab him to the body and head. Make him bend in, drop his hands a little. Keep the pressure on him, cut the ring off and move him around the ring.
Work your way to the inside and make his height a detriment.Comment
