It's not like there's more shame in getting knocked out from a body shot, that notion is just ******ed.
The truly sick thing is he probably doesn't.

Ummm....and the DLH nuthuggers run screaming.....

If no ATGs have ever been knocked out by a body shot, then that would seem to disprove your theory.

Certainly, somebody can come up with at least one ATG that was knocked out by a body shot? It must have happened, but if you have to go back to the days of Corbett and Sullivan to find one, then something's wrong.

You can say what you want about Oscar but he faced the best opposition compared to other fighters especially fighters today. He fought guys in their PRIME and good guys not just bums. And I agree a win against Pac won't help his legacy but lets face it Oscar isn't in his prime anymore.
To his credit, I'll agree Oscar is more willing to take risks than alot of other boxers out there. And, I'll agree that many years ago, he was outstanding. But, Oscar did NOT fight all the top opposition. He skipped right past Tszyu at 140 for one thing. I know all the common excuses to this, so don't bother.

But, as to Hopkins....it's about the way he lost. It hurt Oscar's legacy, IMO....even though he has to get credit for taking the fight. It's ironic.
