Does A Pacman Win Hurt Floyd's Legacy

I think everyone can agree that at 130 and 135 Floyd was one of the greatest fighters ever. But there's been a lot of criticism about his fights at the higher weights and the main defense is that he was in it to fight the big names like Oscar and Hatton. If Pacman beats those two opponents in a more convincing fashion does that hurt Floyd's legacy?

They said the same thing when Cotto went on to KO all the opponents that took Floyd all 12 rounds.

There can be a debate on how much the weight loss will effect Oscar at this stage of his career. When he fought Floyd, he was a year younger and was at a comfortable weight.

It would be cool to see a Pac vs. Floyd fight though

Judah and Mitchell were Tszyu left-overs that Floyd got so it would be the same with the Cotto thing.

Im not saying Cotto's better, but better boxers have lost to lesser opponents. Therefore its not a guarantee that Floyd will win if these 2 were to ever face off.

i would think that at that point floyd would need to come out of retirement to clear **** up if he wanted to go down as the best fighter of this era.

This wouldnt be the case if Floyd wasnt the type of fighter who did just enough to win. He could've easily turned up the heat on Hoya, but he clearly chose not to. He's not a risk taker, and although its worked in his favor thus far, it has also brought on much criticism.
