Maybe we'll get lucky out of this bunch of Horsehockey and get a Jonathan Banks v. BJ Flores fight early next year. That would make a great challenger for Steve Cunningham is he beats Adamek. The winner of that fight will be the real champion anyway.Comment

This fight is a ****ing joke! I weigh around 200lbs, why don't they give me a shot! I'm undefeated with a record of 0-0. No surprising boxing gets a bad rap when piss poor fights like these get made for world titles! SHOCKING!Comment

In fairness, all of this isn't Maccarinelli's fault. He chose to fight an undefeated, highly ranked contender who then did his ankle in apparantly. I smell a whiff of bull****. I heard a rumour Banks was struggling to make the weight, which is the real reason he pulled out. He looked flabby in his last fight, so I can believe it, although it may well be bull**** as well.
I don't know how this fight is a championship bout either, but Maccarinelli did all he could, offered the fight to Flores and maybe this guy was the only fighter left.Comment

It's an awful fight but just what are the alternatives? Flores didn't want the late shot, Hide also turned it down and they're left with someone who probably is the #176th best CW.
It probably shouldn't be a title fight now, but I'm not sure I care about titles any more.Comment

The blame cant be put on Enzo, anyone who trys to suggest Enzo is being a coward has not got a clue. Yes it may of ended up a poor contest but the blame is strictly Banks.Comment
