Warp was trying to tell me Hopkins was 2 rounds up and whilst its been a long time since i saw the fight i had it about even with Hopkins starting to come into it a little more

Was a perfect Liver shot you cannot get up. Ive taken a few kicks to the liver and your legs just give out and it really hurts to breathe.

Wierd but I watched a video of the fight the week after Hopkins beat Pavlik. Hopkins seemed to me to be dominating the ninth round before the KO blow but I thought that it was fairly even till then, Oscar got some nice shots off but seemed to be struggling with the range a touch.

I thought Felix Sturm dealt out more punishment on Oscar over 9 rounds than Hopkins mind.

What was really impressive in Hopkins fight against Oscar was not that he stopped Oscar, but how he fought him.

I mean if Hopkins would, he probably could have stepped on the gas pedal and forced the fight, with his strenght and size. He could take some shots, and pressed Oscar much more.

Instead what i say was that Hopkins proved even at 39 he could match Oscars speed and skills, not jumped on him using his power and size on him.

But Hopkins took away what most people thought was Oscars only advantage in the fight, his speed.
