I watched DLH-Hop again and the way oscar folded like a lawn chair in the ninth from what looked like a decent but not powerful bodyshot I have to wonder if he quit. Hop was starting to beat his ass and the golden hype tanked it. Your thoughts...

Oscar did too much drama, that kinda gave it away IMO.

He didn't take a dive, but I think he could have possibly gotten up. If he couldn't, he wasn't in nowhere near that much pain though.

i cant understand why he would pack it on a body shot i thought he was doing well in the fight at that point it was level or he may have even been up on the cards

No way. He was up on one card, but that was ******. I had it either 78-74 or 77-75 for Hopkins. Besides the early rounds, Hopkins was really landing cleanly and coming on strong. Those right hands were punishing him.

I don't know man, that was like a kidney shot. B-Hop wrapped around DLH's back almost...it was basically the same exact punch that Cotto really hurt Quintana with...like a cuffed rib shot that ended up hitting the kidney.

I think a kidney shot could really **** you up bad.
