i think no because of these reasons:

1.) may-dlh was a pickem fight therefore more anticipation n excitement, dlh-pacquiao everyone knows what the results would be
2.) credit crunch
3.) may-dlh imo was promoted better with that 24/7 **** talking by floyd and roger.
4.) mayweather is a bigger ppv attraction than pacquiao
5.) everyone wanted to see mayweather lose

No. I don't believe it'll surpass a record breaker like DLH/MW.

It would probably have been close if Manny got all gangsta and had a crazy story like: he walks on water backwards, has 10 baby mommas, and smokes blunts and downs a 40 before dawn.

Or if Oscar even hints at occasionally wearing fishnets while working out...

Then I'd say maybe it might come close.

But Oscar and Manny aren't charismatic salesmen.

They just go through the motions, give the mandatory interviews, and step in the ring.

Besides, many fight fans will be splitting the cost of the fight with a group of buddies or heading to a local bar who might be showing it.

I will say NO but not for reasons 1 & 4, not everyone knows the results, that's why its a dream fight ... fans are allowed to dream of the results (LOL) and PBF became big PPV attraction during the ODLH fight, he aint sh_t before that...
