So at work today I went to the pool supply warehouse that we get all of our equipment from. My friend Jaime says something about the Oscar fight, and I respond, yeah Im gonna watch it.

We he says "Oscar is getting knocked the **** OUT!!!!"

Well all of the guys there started talking about the fight. They dont know **** about boxing, and most or MMA fans. They start trying to go in depth about the fight and how Oscar and Manny size up and this and that. For about 15 or 20 minutes I am listening to lies, "facts" that are not facts and were made up, and arguments. They ALL (about 10 guys) said that there is no way in hell they are missing this fight.

I couldnt believe what I was hearing. Guys that care nothing for boxing saying "they wont miss this fight for nothing in the world".

When I heard that I was convinced that this fight will be huge.

looks like dlh did a good job convincing casual fans that it's not a mismatch... crazy how if you repeat something long enough it becomes fact.

I know today my aunt came over to my grandpas house and me and my gramps always talk about boxing. well i told my grandpa i would order the fight and we can watch it at his house and my aunt said ohh ok ill tell the family and we can have like a party. god damn i got pissed cuz my family is pretty big and i dont want to watch the fight w/ that many people. then i told her ok but im charging $5 a person to watch it and parking is free. She thinks im joking.

does anyone know if i order the ppv thru direct tv. Will i only be able to watch the fight on the tv in the living room or can i watch the fight in the living room and another room in the house????????? Im just wondering cuz my family will be all loud and **** and i will have a hard time watching the fight and me and my grandpa hate when they are there during a fight. So we are thinking of ordering it and letting the family watch it in the living room then me and my grandpa will go watch it in the back bedroom.

yeah all my mates that are slightly more than casual fans but mainly only follow the British stars are buzzing about this fight

they are hinting that they wanna watch the fight round mine, but i'm trying to avoid it..... i prefer watching the big fights without feeling like i have to socialise
