oscar is that famous, if he fights, then you start hearing people talking about it..

Well all of the guys there started talking about the fight. They dont know **** about boxing, and most or MMA fans. They start trying to go in depth about the fight and how Oscar and Manny size up and this and that. For about 15 or 20 minutes I am listening to lies, "facts" that are not facts and were made up, and arguments. They ALL (about 10 guys) said that there is no way in hell they are missing this fight.

I couldnt believe what I was hearing. Guys that care nothing for boxing saying "they wont miss this fight for nothing in the world".

When I heard that I was convinced that this fight will be huge.

I know. This dude was set that Manny was gonna KO Oscar. I was like WTF!!!???

They were all hyped about the fight. but to hear them say they "aint missing it for ****".

I was like damn, the names really do sell the fight, and not the actual fight. Cotto vs Margs was a huge fight for us fans, but not for the public. This fight is HUGE for the public, but for us it's just "Ehh".

Yeah ODLH carried the ppv numbers for that fight and Manny Pacquiao is huge amongst the asians but then again we are OFFICIALLY in a recession.

Word i went to a taco place here in tempe and the guy is coo with me i asked him about the fight and he's like. Hell yeah we got mariscos,coronas and carne all day i can't wait. Armored truck drivers here are coming thru(work at a bank) and asking me what i tought cause they know im a big fan and it suprises me how hype they are...Funny how filipinos don't know **** about boxing they think oscars gonna win cause he's better. Not the size but better hahahaha..they only know 2 boxers in the world manny and oscar

I've been pretty surprised at how frequently I've seen the commercial on TV, **** I've seen it all over too on MTV, TBS, and weird channels, like the sci-fi and comedy network etc.

I don't think it will break 1.5 million though. Keep this in perspective the economy is absolute **** and people are tight on cash and it's the holiday season, families need money for christmas presents, etc. The timing is bad.
