If you've been watching since 89 (20yrs), then its safe to assume that you're more than a "casual fan" LOL. To me, a casual fan is one who doesnt follow, nor know much about the sport or the fighters, but will tune in whenever a popular fighter that they've heard of is fighting. Does that define you?
Mayweather vs. DLH was not a boring fight!

Floyd put alot of power behing those right straights. All he did was load up on them...Those were harder shots then in the Gatti fight...He really wasn't, the right he hit Gatti with were worse. He was never going for the KO, Baldo didn't land jack and that what made it boring.
It wasn't a one sided beatdown like Gatti-Mayweather but it was one sided in the aspect that Floyd was trying to win doing the least amount of "fighting"Comment

It was a mismatch from jump, and that's what made Floyd/Baldomir boring for me. Pretty much everyone knew that Baldo was going to be too slow and lacked skills to even make it a competitive fight. He really wasn't, the right he hit Gatti with were worse. He was never going for the KO, Baldo didn't land jack and that what made it boring.

You know, i watched that fight live and i wasn't that thrilled.
But then i watched the highlights and the fight again and blah blah blah...ya know studied the fight....and i agree, it was more exciting that what people think.
Ya gotta know something about boxing to appreciate that kinda stuff.
I wouldn't go too far as saying that it was a great fight, but when you watch it in retrospect, you see things that you didn't see during the live presentation.
