Best MMA Fighter To Crossover To Boxing?

I'm surprised Fedor hasn't been mentioned. I know right off the bat most people might agree that Fedor is the best MMA fighter out there, but his skills don't really fit those necessary of a boxer.
Check out all his fights and tell me whats the first thing you notice about the dude.
His handspeed and explosiveness is nuts for heavyweight standards. He fights at 200+ yet his hands are quicker than pretty much any cruiserweight out there. Not to mention his explosive speed closing in.
Check the speed.

Obviously none of these fighters would be even close to world champions in boxing, but they are the best that MMA has to offer...
I agree that Penn is probably the most polished boxer right now.
Sergei Kharitonov was pretty impressive in his prime:
Again, certainly not on the level of top boxers (especially in terms of defense) but he had some amateur boxing experience and can dispatch most MMA fighters on his feet.Last edited by TheGreatA; 12-03-2008, 06:24 PM.Comment
