If the WW division is where the money is at why did paul leave?

alot of you guys claim he shrinks down because that's where the money is at well why has he left? Plenty of fights to make at 147, why is it all he wants is margarito? Why has he abandoned the most exciting division in boxing? Maybe some of you fan boys will realize he's having trouble making the weight and unless its margarito he doesn't want to fight at 147. It just doesn't make sense. Any other person would have continued fighting and beating top ww's on his way to the top just like margarito did. Face it Pwill was trying to get rich quick! and it failed! I'm curious to see if he accepts sergi's challenge to come to the USA to fight Paul. I'm wondering why he isn't as vocal about a chance at the recognized champ at 154 as he is about a fight with margarito. Does He run from the challenge and try squeezing into 147 for a little longer to avoid sergi?

You must have really wanted to see him fight Jennings last week instead of Phillips?

Paul was scared to defend his title, he didn't want to be 0-2.

That's a good question. Is he leaving for good? I was under the impression that he was just keeping busy, much like he did when he fought the bum at 160. I think Williams should stay at WW if he can still make weight. He ain't nothing special but his size advantage carries him at WW. He needs to develop an effective jab and fight like the tall guy that he is if he wants success at 154 and 160.

While I have never heard of Williams having problems making the WW limit, it is hard for me to believe otherwise.

It seems like no one was trying to fight him at 147. In the recent past he's called out Cotto, Clottey Margarito, and I'm pretty sure Mosely too. Most of us probably don't know the inside scoop on why those fights weren't made...but surely it can't all fall on him, right? I'm not saying all those guys ducked him...but it's not as simple as saying "I wanna fight you". If he can't land anything at 147 why not look into other areas instead of sitting on his ass?

From what I hear its hard to make money fighting at WW if nobody will fight you.
