Depends which Williams shows up. If its the one from the first Quintana fight.......we know Cotto can beat him. Both at their best though........at this time I have to go with Williams. That size and workrate are gonna present serious problems for Miguel and I don't think he could land on williams as regularly as he did Margarito. I do however reserve the right to change my mind in the next few fights.

williams by tko, lol people are saying that williams has bad foot work and throws sloppy punches, margarito isnt a technical fighter in the least, he gets hit more then williams, williams has faster hands and hits as hard or harder than margarito, cotto aint knocking out williams, espesically after the beating he took from margarito.

there's a reason williams left 147 and it doesn't have to do with no one wanting to fight him. Making 147 isn't worth it for him unless it's against margarito!

I see this going two ways, Cotto wins by a vicious body shot or Williams by TKO. But I think the latter is more likely at the moment.

Paul Williams has a very difficult time making weight at 147, he should fight right where he is now....at 154. At 6'2'', and trying to make Welter, The Punisher will most definately "OVER-TRAIN", and be highly weight drained, he can't keep fighting at that weight. Team Cotto saw the same thing with Cotto at 140, and is now campaigning at 147. Team Williams will be doing the same soon enough, not just for Verno Phillips.

So what that Cotto beat Quintana, and Quintana won the first fight with Williams. Carlos Quintana is good, though I believe it was more of Williams being weight drained, over trained, and couldn't compete. Even though Williams has a huge work rate, there is not much behind those flickering jabs to really keep Cotto off him like Margarito did. Simply put...Williams can't really hurt Cotto. (like the Tiajuana Tornado did).

Is that why he comez in at 145 fight night?

I will say I think Tony, styles wise, gives Cotto more problems than Paul Williams would.
