how can you force a mandatory when Varcarcel himself said he, Williams, will be allowed an optional per the request of Dan Goossen? answer that one for me.

There was a link from 11/11/2007 that even has Margarito stating that his preference would be to fight as the mandatory to Williams or did you ignore that? yet Williams doesn't make mention of Margarito until June of this year.

The only thing that sidelined Williams from calling out Margarito is him losing to Quintana and having to get his title back. That was a good time for Margarito as he was hoping that the big black guy who beat him would go away and he could get on with his life.

However that did not happen as he avenged his loss via 1st rd ko. Optional defense nothing...Margarito was not vocal about a rematch enough and it's obvious why, he didn't want one. He took the shortcut to the top, a 6 foot 2 tall shortcut and now he isn't willing to give it up.

This is like a court trial, there is motive behind everything. And based on everthing I already presented in the timetable, nobody is gonna believe that they petitioned the WBO just to get a fight vs Williams.

Not when we already know that Williams would fight him on his own. It's Margarito who was forced to fight Williams, not the other way around.
