Paul Williams is a recognized champ who is in his prime, while Mosley is at the end of his career and faaaaaaar from prime. Overall Mosley is a bigger name, but a win over Williams means more right now than a win over Mosley.

If you had no problem with Floyd fighting DLH over Cotto or Margarito, then you should have no problem with Margarito fighting Mosley over Williams.

Mosley is a great fighter.

Williams got a gift decision over Marg, otherwise he's never beaten anybody.

Obviously Mosley is a much bigger win, he'll deal with Williams later.

As a fan I want an UD WW champ, and that means Pwill. From a business standpoint, SSM is mos def the bigger name.

Bingo, to most of us Williams is the better win by far. But beating Mosley now puts him in the drivers seat when he goes on to face Williams later. It will be clear that he is the draw and he will be able to claim beating more top 5 welters than anyone else. Long term it makes more sense to beat Mosley, but that is assuming he goes after Williams at some point in the near post Cotto future, all SSM and no Williams doesn't cut it for me, unless Wiliams gets mopped up nasty in the meantime.

But right now he's signed to fight Mosley, so what's done is done. Mosley will be a good win for now.

thats a ****** comparison dee. Margo fighting Mosley over Williams is like Floyd fighting DLH over either Cotto or Margarito. Those were the fights people were calling for.

One thing Margarito fans can say over Floyd fans is that Margarito at least DID fight Williams.
