2. Keep himself in shape and keeping the ring rust at bay.
3. Pick up a championship belt.
4. Create more interest by making his rematch with Margarito a unification bout.
5. Make the WW division a bit less complicated by getting all the belts in the same place for the most part.

can anyone tell me who is michael jennings, i mean if you really know about him, what are his strenghts and weaknesses, i dont want this fight to be another alfonso gomez blowout, even though cotto deserves it after being drained by margarito.

it has to be competitive for cotto to get his confidence back because if these are the guys they chose for the tune-up to the rematch,margarito will be more prepared and more confident if he beats a hall of fame boxer in shane mosley.

Jennings is organised and has good stamina. He will not win this fight. He's a good lad with a tragic past who has been undermatched, generally. His one loss to Young Mutley is disputed.
