dude verno losses to forrest, sergie, mora, dlh, santos, kirkland, chavez jr, vanes, and angulo at 154. Verno is 39years old man! At best he was only considered a contendar in his prime never was he anything more than that.

i honestly think pwills peak is at 154. If he gets to 160 then he has the mirandas, abrahams, and pavliks that i think would ko pwill ! Pwill's first 16 or so fights were at 154 or higher, there's a reason why he went down to 147 and it has more to do than just money.

Verno is 39 years old!!! in his prime he was just a contender at this stage he is just well i dont' know getting a paycheck? Verno was the weakes belt holder, he shouldn't even have been a belt holder he got a horrible decision against spinks! and to be the weakest belt holder in one of the weaker divisions in boxing is not saying much. Verno wasn't even taking big shots from williams and he quit on his stool. The dude was old, it was hard to expect anything more from the guy.

the mora that beat forrest is the same that lost to him, forrest overtrained. dlh is closer to shot then phillips and will do things similar to forbes but with more power. those prospects are on the rise but i doubt all of them beat phillips he can take advantage of their youth. and phillips was taking big shots look at the last 30 seconds of the fight, the punisher was mad.
