You can't even seriously call him a champion. He won the IBF in a bout with spinks in which is was a damn tragedy and part of what is wrong with boxing! Spinks got screwed over by don king! I'm assuming you didn't watch the spinks fight because there is no way in hell that corey spinks lost that fight, yet he lost it probably thanks to mr. king's little works. No way is verno a threat to many fighters at 39 years of age the dude is just fighting for some extra cash before he retires.

because marg is not campaigning at different weights why would he and kessler even be mentioned in the same sentence. it would be funny if kessler team made offer to williams. and i've seen in some thread claims margarito beating pavlik b4 after that cotto win. but despite immediate rematch claim or not the fight could have happened yesterday.

The thread starter is right the williams fans have gone nuts! But to be honest not all pwill fans are 17 year old idiots. Flawless and Burner are the only two idiots i can think of that fit that description **** as much as flawless gets banned i wouldn't be surprised if flawless was burner.

the 154 division is a very weak division right now! Cotto, Margarito, and williams can beat every single guy at 154. It has some potential though. Kirkland, vanes, chavez jr, and angulo are all promising prospects and should bring some action to the division if not next year the following year for sure!!
